Support A 24-Hour Movie Marathon for Charity!

There is only one 24-hour movie marathon for charity out there, and I’m going to it! Support children with leukemia by visiting my fundraising page at FirstGiving.com. Don’t worry – I won’t let you down. I am a battle-hardened veteran of thirteen movie marathons. I take personal pride in never having fallen asleep for any of them. I will obliterate 1,440 minutes of pop culture and then write all about it on this weblog. And it is all for a good cause!

In case you were wondering, Children’s Leukemia foundation of Michigan has a good charity navigator score of 3 out of 4 stars. About $0.80 of every dollar donated goes to the kids. You can check CLF out at facebook here, and see a short video about them below.

Time is Running Out to Support Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan!

I have raised $150 so far and need just $50 more to reach my fundraising goal for Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan. The 24-hour movie marathon starts at 10:00 AM this Friday! That’s just five days away!

If you would like to support me, click here! I will be at the theater and watching movies for the entire 24 hours, and you’ll know it through my live weblogging on this site. It isn’t as easy as it looks – I’ve been the only one to stay awake in the last four movie marathons my wife and I have thrown! Trust me, I’m a professional movie marathoner!

I’m doing a 24-hour movie marathon for Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan!

The Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan is holding a 24-hour movie marathon at Celebration Cinema North. As you know, I wrote the book on 24-hour movie marathons and I am totally stoked to attend a movie marathon in a real movie theater for a good cause!

I need your help! First and foremost, I want people to come with me! You can register at the event’s website. You get 24 hours of movies, unlimited free popcorn and pop, candy swag bag, free lunch, dinner, midnight snack, and breakfast, and “red carpet” photos. Doors open at 9:30 AM on Friday, June 21st and movies last from 10:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

If you can’t come, I could really use your support! My personal fundraising page is here. 100% of the funding is spent helping Michigan families and $0.83 of each dollar donated goes to patients and their families.

Officially registered for Hollywood Nights Grand Rapids 2013
